Andreas Ernst (moderator)

Andreas Ernst (born August 6, 1955 in Reutlingen ; † October 23, 2014 ) was a German editor and moderator .

Ernst became a news editor for Deutschlandfunk at the age of 21 . A year later he switched to what was then Südwestfunk Baden-Baden, where he was responsible for the SWF3 PopShop program and was part of the cast of the comedy tour Gagtory . He then worked at SWF3 until the program was discontinued in August 1998. At the same time, he had been a television presenter at WDR since 1984 , appearing in Current Hour , KuK and WDR Aktuell , among others . Occasionally he was also a presenter on the ARD / ZDF documentary channel Phoenix . Since 2004 he has been the voice of tram-TV.

He died on October 23, 2014 after a serious illness at the age of 59.
