Andreas Frisch
Andreas Frisch (mentioned from 1620; † 1661 ) was a cabinet maker and altar builder in Linz .
Andreas (also Andre) Frisch (Fritsch), presumably the son of the carpenter and altar builder Georg Frisch , was first mentioned in 1620 when he received payment for a new pole for the city flag of Linz. In 1652 he created a new altar in the Ölberg chapel of the parish church in Linz . In 1658 he was involved in the triumphal arch for Emperor Leopold I.
His son Johannes Frisch and his grandson Johann Christian Frisch were also cabinet makers and sculptors. Another son, Georg, became a painter.
