Andreas Glockner (born February 25, 1988 in Titisee-Neustadt ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Glockner played for SC Freiburg since the D-youth . In 2006 he scored the 1-0 lead in the semi-finals of the DFB Junior Club Cup against 1. FC Nürnberg (final score 2-0), but missed the final victory of his team in the Berlin Olympic Stadium due to injury (4-1 against Karlsruher SC). At the beginning of the 2006/07 season, Glockner tore a cruciate ligament and was out for the entire round. In the 2007/08 season, Glockner is a regular in the SC Freiburg youth team, which leads the table in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg .
He made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on April 6, 2008 in the away game against FC St. Pauli . He was surprisingly on the starting grid and lost 5-0 with his club. In his third game with the professionals against TuS Koblenz, he scored his first goal for SC Freiburg. On April 17th, 2008 Glockner signed a long-term professional contract.
Glockner went through the DFB youth selection of the U-16, U-17 and U-18 . After his injury, he was called up for the first time in the squad of the U20 national team in March 2008 , but the game against Switzerland had to be canceled due to snowfall. A month later he was used in the catch-up game.
On September 27, 2009 Glockner came to his first Bundesliga appearance for the Breisgauer when he came on in the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the 82nd minute.
On January 7, 2010, SC Freiburg and TuS Koblenz announced that Andreas Glockner would be loaned to the second division team until the end of the 2009/10 season. With this, he should collect match practice in Koblenz and protect the club from relegation to the third division.
For the 2010/11 season he moved to 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 and signed a one-year contract. Glockner made his debut in Heidenheim on the second match day against VfB Stuttgart II when he came into play for Marc Schnatterer. At the end of the season, 1. FC Heidenheim and Andreas Glockner could not agree on a new contract.
For the 2011/12 season Glockner signed a two-year contract with the second division relegated VfL Osnabrück . After two years as a regular player, Glockner left VfL again and switched to league rivals 1. FC Saarbrücken . There he received a contract until June 30, 2015. Half a year after his move, he dissolved his contract with FCS and returned to VfL Osnabrück, where he signed a new contract until June 30, 2015. In January 2015, he dissolved his contract in Osnabrück and switched to league rivals SC Fortuna Köln .
After his contract in Cologne had expired, Glockner rejoined TuS Koblenz in the Regionalliga and signed a contract there until 2018. After relegation and the expiry of his contract in Koblenz in summer 2018, Glockner moved to Wormatia Worms within the Regionalliga Süd-West . There he ended his professional career after a season, before his move to FC Bad Krozingen, a regional league team from the Freiburg area, was announced.
