Andreas Gloge

Andreas Gloge (* 18th May 1975 in Bremen ) is a freelance radio play and novel author .

biography

Gloge studied English and cultural studies at the University of Bremen and in London. For a while he worked as a journalist. Since 2005 he has devoted himself to writing as a novelist and radio play author. He is the father of two daughters. He currently lives in Aachen and is a passionate supporter of SV Werder Bremen .

Gloge is best known as a screenwriter for the successful radio play series Gabriel Burns (from episode 17), Point Whitmark (from episode 16) and Offside the Paths (from episode 1). For the latter, he was responsible for the idea and conception together with producer and director Volker Sassenberg .

Gloge also wrote all three previous novels for the Gabriel Burns series The Gray Angels , Adoration and Children , which were published in 2007 by Ullstein Verlag . In addition, Gloge is regularly featured with audio book stories in the children's radio show Ohrbär , which is broadcast daily on rbb and WDR5 .

On January 1, 2019, Gloge started the literature experiment Deeprock on his homepage, which primarily aims to incorporate elements of modern fantasy. Here he posts an entry of exactly 365 characters a day about the fictional city of Deeprock for a year.

Since May 2019 he has been an active member of the fantastic authors network , which is committed to strengthening and networking authors in the fantastic industry.
