Andreas Hardter
Andreas Hardter (born October 21, 1780 in Wildon , † June 22, 1816 in Graz ) was an Austrian painter and art teacher.
Hardter studied at the State Drawing Academy in Graz, then for six years at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . From 1814 to 1816 he was the successor to his teacher Johann-Veit Kaupertz as director of the State Drawing Academy in Graz.
He died at the age of 35. His successor as head and professor of the State Drawing Academy was Josef August Stark in 1817 .
