Andreas Heidtmann (born June 12, 1961 in Hünxe ) is a German lecturer , author , editor and pianist .

Life

After graduating from high school, Andreas Heidtmann studied piano with Pavel Gililov in Cologne, among others, and studied German and philosophy in Berlin . In 1992, 1996 and 2000 he received scholarships from the Berlin Senate for Culture, and in 2002 a literature scholarship from the City of Leipzig . After working as a publisher's editor, in 2005 he founded the poetenladen , a literature label for contemporary German-language literature that stands for the web portal poetenladen.de and the poetenladen Verlag for contemporary literature. In 2010, he was awarded the Calw Hermann Hesse Prize for the literary magazine poet, which has been published every six months since 2006, and for the literature portal poetenladen . Heidtmann's short stories found their way into school books, among other things.

In October 2010 he was awarded the Lessing Prize of the Free State of Saxony 2011 “for his commitment to the creation and preservation of literary diversity” .
