Andreas Heller (theologian)

Andreas Heller (* 1956 ) is a German Catholic theologian and nursing scientist .

Life

He studied theology , philosophy , sociology , modern German literature, health and nursing science in Bonn , Würzburg , Passau , Bogota , Manila and Vienna . He earned his master's degree in theology in 1980, his master's degree in sociology in 1984, his doctorate in 1988 and his habilitation in 1999. Birgit Heller's husband and father of two daughters became a professor in the first chair for palliative care in 2007and organizational ethics in Europe. Since March 1, 2013, he has been working in the Department of Palliative Care and Organizational Ethics at the Institute for Pastoral Theology and Pastoral Psychology of the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the Karl-Franzens University Graz.
