Andreas Kestler
Andreas Kestler , also Andreas Keßler , (* before 1677, † after 1682) was a German stonemason , bricklayer and architect in Zeil am Main .
From 1679 to 1683 he built the Zeilitzheim Palace for Count Philipp Gaston von Wolfsthal, a four-wing, two-storey baroque complex around a square inner courtyard , based on his own plans . His plans were revised by the Würzburg court architect, Antonio Petrini , who came from Italy . One of Kestler's trademarks was the exterior surfaces he designed, which look like stone blocks but were made of stucco .
In Bamberg he rebuilt the old Ebracher Hof from 1679 to 1681 .
