Andreas Kleeb (born October 2, 1962 in Zug ; legal resident in Zug, Richenthal and Roggliswil ) is a Swiss entrepreneur , cattle dealer and politician .

Live and act

Andreas Kleeb studied business informatics at the University of Zurich . In 1985 he joined the Wickart office as a student trainee and expanded this specialist office business into an IT provider under the new name of Wickart, Kleeb + Partner AG. In 1999 the company was restructured and the beelk group was created with the subsidiaries redIT , beelk Services , Softmotive AG , Ivira AG and Jetag GmbH . In the course of time, further investments were established as a start-up or acquired in the form of a successor solution. Individual holdings such as Radio Sunshine or iSpeech have meanwhile been sold again.

Andreas Kleeb is responsible for other mandates, namely on the Board of Directors of Elektron AG ( Au ZH ) and the Notter Group ( Wohlen ), as well as on the Board of Trustees of Pro Senectute ( Zug ) and on the Advisory Board of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, Department of Computer Science ( Rotkreuz ).

From 2008 to 2012 Andreas Kleeb was canton president of the FDP canton Zug . During this time he initiated the founding of the FDP Top60 , which takes care of age policy in the canton of Zug. In 2008, as President, he also launched the cantonal constitutional initiative “YES to personel elections” in the executive, which was later approved by the people. In 2010 the federal petition "2,000 francs is enough!" for an NFA upper limit of the NFA payer, especially for Zug. Also in 2010 he was actively involved in the presidential conference of the FDP Switzerland , when the federal popular initiative “Bureaucracy Stop!” was launched, but could not be successfully submitted due to incorrect signatures.

In 2012 Andreas Kleeb was a founding member and until 2014 a member of the board of the City Council 2014 (BS14!). Since 2014 he has been in the core team for the federal popular initiative "Yes to the abolition of radio and television fees (abolition of Billag fees)" , which pursued the abolition of Billag fees in Switzerland. The initiative came to the vote on March 4, 2018.

After he was not nominated for the National Council elections, he resigned from all FDP sections in 2015. He has been a member of the FDP Top60 since 2016.

Andreas Kleeb is a member of several associations such as Friends of Morgartenschießen, Aero-Club der Schweiz <, Swiss Cattle Traders Association SVV, SWICO (Swiss Business Association), Zug Chamber of Commerce, Canton Zug Trade Association, Rotary Club Zug-Zugersee, honorary member of the Rotary eClub Central Switzerland.
