Andreas Klippert

Andreas Klippert (born May 14, 1966 in Iserlohn ) is a former German basketball player .

career

The 2.06 meter tall indoor player took part with the German national cadet team in the European championship in July 1983, which was held in Tübingen and Ludwigsburg . Klippert scored seven points per encounter over the course of the tournament.

From 1983 to 1988 Klippert played for SSV Hagen in the basketball league . Then he played again for TuS Iserlohn.

In 2009 Klippert took over the coaching position at the Iserlohn Kangaroos (at that time in the regional league), before that he was a coach at TV Hohenlimburg and was also an assistant coach of the U16 team from Phoenix Hagen and the selection of the West German Basketball Association in youth work. In January 2010 he resigned from his coaching position in Iserlohn for health reasons. From summer 2010 he was the coach of BG Biggesee and led the team to promotion to the 2nd regional league in the 2011/12 season.
