Andreas Ludwig (politician)
Andreas Ludwig (born December 3, 1961 in Idar-Oberstein ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
After graduating from high school (1981) and doing military service , Ludwig studied architecture in Kaiserslautern from 1982 to 1989 with a degree in engineering. He completed his legal clerkship from 1990 to 1992 with a degree as a building assessor . From 1992 to 1995 he worked as the technical manager of the construction department of the district administration of the southern Weinstrasse district . From 1995 to 2003 he was a full-time assistant to the city of Bad Kreuznach . In 2003 he was elected mayor of the city. On April 10, 2011, he lost re-election in a runoff election. Heike Kaster-Meurer (SPD) was his successor in office as Lord Mayor .
On November 28, 2012, Ludwig was elected by the city council as mayor and department head for construction and the environment of the Thuringian city of Eisenach . On January 19, 2015, he was elected full-time construction officer for the city of Trier and took up this position on May 1, 2015.
