Andreas Pape (politician)

Andreas Pape (born May 13, 1960 in Bremen ) is a Berlin politician ( SPD ).

He passed his Abitur in 1979 and then began to study at the Free University of Berlin . He finished his studies with a degree in geology. In 1995 he began to work as a nursing assistant at the clinics in the Theodor Wenzel factory . In 1976, Pape joined the SPD, where he held several functions in the Alt-Moabit local association . In 1997 he became deputy chairman of the district association of the SPD in the Tiergarten district , from 1998 until its dissolution he was its chairman. After the reform he was cashier for the district association of the SPD in the Mitte district for a while . From 1994 to 1999 he was a member of the district assembly of Tiergarten, after which he was citizens' deputy of the district assembly in the middle. From 2001 to 2006 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives, where he was directly elected in the Mitte 3 constituency.
