Andreas Rapatz (born September 5, 1986 ) is an Austrian athlete.

Life

The middle -distance runner has specialized in the 800-meter distance . In 2007 he took part in the 2007 European Indoor Championships over 800 meters. He was also a participant in the Universiade 2007 and the European Indoor Championships in 2009 on this route. Also at the European Championships in 2010 and at the European Indoor Championships in 2011 and the European Championships in 2012 , he was more than 800 meters of the representative of Austria. Since the beginning of 2012 he has held the ÖLV record in this discipline , which he improved to 1: 46.65 min at the ASVÖ Indoor Gala in Vienna. Rapatz is trained by Eduard Holzer at VST Laas in Carinthia .
