Andreas Ravelli (born August 13, 1959 in Vimmerby , Sweden ) is a former Swedish football player .

Career

Club career

Together with his twin brother Thomas , Andreas Ravelli began his career at Östers IF in 1977 . With the club, the brothers became Swedish champions in 1980 and 1981. In total, Andreas Ravelli played 196 games in his ten years with the club and scored twelve goals.

In 1988 Ravelli moved to IFK Göteborg , but stayed there only two seasons. He returned to Östers IF in 1991 via Lenhovda IF . From 1993 to 1994 he played with Hovmantorps GoIF before he was again with Lenhovda IF for two seasons in 1995 and 1996. He then ended his career.

National team

Ravelli played a total of 41 times for the Swedish national team between 1980 and 1989 , scoring two goals. He made his debut on November 12, 1980 as part of a qualifier against Israel for the 1982 World Cup in Spain , which ended 0-0.

Coaching career

After his active football career, Ravelli was coach of his previous club Östers IF in 1997/98 .

Ravelli now runs a youth soccer camp.

Others

In addition to his twin brother Thomas, Ravelli's son Mathias is also a soccer player.

After their football career, the Ravelli brothers designed their own clothing line.

Andreas Ravelli has also played himself in a number of television series, for example in 2016 in the series FC Nörd .
