Andreas Rimkus
Andreas Rimkus (born April 19, 1962 in Hameln ) is a German metal designer and sculptor ("blacksmith artist"). He lives and works in Springe .
Live and act
First, Andreas Rimkus trained as a mechanical engineer. He completed this career path in 1987 with the master's examination. He studied metal design from 1990 to 1993 at the Hildesheim University of Applied Sciences . He learned forging from Jan Prütz.
Rimkus has been a freelance metal designer and sculptor in Springe since 1993. He makes metal constructions, light objects , small sculptures and sculptures . His exhibitions also attract attention. His active studio in Springe am Deister always attracts the public. At the World Forging Congress in Cloppenburg , Rimkus was not only an exhibitor, but also a speaker.
