Andreas Scheibe (born August 17, 1951 in Glauchau ) is a former German sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run and started for the GDR .

In 1968 he was fifth over 400 meters at the European Junior Games in Leipzig and second in the 4 x 400 meter relay , at the first official European Junior Championships , which were held in Colombes in 1970 , he won the bronze medal over 400 meters. In 1974 he won silver at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg . At the European Athletics Championships in Rome he reached the intermediate run in the individual competition and came fourth with the GDR team in the 4 x 400 meter relay. Between 1968 and 1976 he wore the national jersey of the GDR in twenty championships and international matches.

In 1973 and 1974 he was GDR champion, in 1971 runner-up. In 1973, 1974 and 1976 he won the GDR title in the hall.

Andreas Scheibe started for SC Karl-Marx-Stadt .
