Andreas Schrott (born August 24, 1981 in Hall in Tirol ) is an Austrian football player .
Club career
Born in Tyrol, he began his football career with the SV Absam youth team . After very good performances at Absam , he switched to BNZ Tirol. He then came to FC Tirol Innsbruck via the Bundesliga youth training center . Then there was a change to WSG Swarovski Wattens , which merged with FC Wacker Tirol in 2003.
In 2004 he was promoted to the Bundesliga with FC Wacker Tirol. In 2005/06 Andreas Schrott played for the Grazer AK . In the summer of 2006 he came back to FC Wacker Tirol, but was relegated with the club in 2008. With FC Wacker Innsbruck, Schrott was two points ahead of FC Admira Wacker Mödling and champion of the second-class Austrian first division in the 2009/10 season and thus rose with the team to the Bundesliga.
After Schrott had not been used in the Bundesliga after promotion with Wacker, he moved to USK Anif in the Regionalliga West in winter 2011 . Half a year later he was signed up by the Bundesliga promoted FC Admira Wacker Mödling and fought for a regular place. During the winter break of 2012/13 he moved back to Salzburg for FC Liefering , where he signed a contract valid until summer 2014. The contract was terminated in January 2014; Schrott went to FC Wacker Innsbruck, where he initially worked as an assistant coach. After coach Klaus Schmidt was dismissed in May 2016, he and Fuad Đulić were appointed interim head coach.
