Andreas Schulz (historian)

Andreas Schulz (born November 22, 1958 in Hamburg ) is a German historian and Secretary General of the Commission for the History of Parliamentarism and Political Parties eV in Berlin .

From 1979 to 1986 Andreas Schulz studied Medieval and Modern History, Political Science and Romance Studies at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main , where he also received his doctorate and habilitation . In 1992/1993 he was a scholarship holder at the Historisches Kolleg in Munich. From 1989 to 2000 he worked there as a research assistant. From 2001 to 2007 he taught as a university lecturer in modern history at the Goethe University in Frankfurt / Main. Since 2007, Andreas Schulz has succeeded Martin Schumacher as managing director and scientific director of the research center of the Commission for the History of Parliamentarism and Political Parties .

Andreas Schulz is an adjunct professor for modern history at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
