Andreas Siegel
Andreas Siegel (born December 25, 1569 in Mittweida ; † June 28, 1637 there ) was an early modern German entrepreneur . He was Hammerherr zu Mittweida and Großpöhla ( Siegelhof ) in the Ore Mountains .
Life
Siegel came from a dynasty of Hammerherrn from the Saxon Western Ore Mountains . He was the son of the hammer gentleman Balthasar Siegel zu Mittweida and Großpöhla and after the death of his father took over his hammer works under guardianship, which he managed after reaching the age of majority during the troubled times of the Thirty Years' War.

He was married to Margaretha geb. Röhling (1574–1637), daughter of the hammer gentleman Johann Röhling from Oberwiesenthal . From this marriage the son Heinrich emerged, who also became a hammer owner.
