Andreas Steiger

Andreas Steiger (born on April 11, 1973 ) is a German game designer who developed the successful card game Targi as Tuareg from 2009 and published it internationally in 2012 at Kosmos Spiele in the series Games for Two and later internationally. Steiger works full-time as an educator in a kindergarten in Stuttgart-Vaihingen and is married to the Italian Antonella Steiger.

Targi was nominated for Kennerspiel des Jahres in 2012 as well as for the International Gamers Award and won the à la carte card game award . In 2016 Targi: The Extension was released as an official extension.
