Andreas Zivy

Andreas Zivy (born October 19, 1955 in Basel ) is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the internationally active Ameropa Holding AG. He is now the third generation to run the trading company founded in 1948. Zivy is married and lives with his wife and three children in Binningen near Basel.

biography

Andreas Zivy attended the Humanist Gymnasium in Basel and then the Paris Institute for Political Studies IEP ( Institut d'études politiques de Paris ), from which he graduated in 1978 with a master's degree. After 2 years in Brazil at the agricultural trading company Bunge, Zivy joined the family business in 1980 and worked in various locations such as Paris , Vienna or Caen as a commercial employee, office head and managing director. In 1986 Zivy was appointed authorized signatory of Ameropa AG. In 1995 he was appointed CEO and elected to the Board of Directors. After the death of his father Felix Zivy in 2010, Andreas Zivy took over responsibility for the entire group of companies as Group CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ameropa Holding.

In his free time, Andreas Zivy enjoys working on architecture . The Ameropa Holding office building was designed by the architects Herzog & de Meuron . Zivy is a member of the FDP Binningen.
