Andrei Nazarov

Andrei Nazarov (born January 9, 1965 in Tallinn ) is a former Estonian decathlete .

He set his best performance of 8322 points on May 17, 1987 in Sochi .

In 1990, starting for the Soviet Union , he was eighth at the European Athletics Championships in Split .

As the representative of Estonia, he came in 14th place at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. In 1994 he was eleventh at the European Championships in Helsinki , in 1995 tenth at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg . At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, he gave up.

Andrei Nazarov, like his former wife, the Lithuanian heptathlete Remigija Nazarovienė , is an athletics trainer for the Estonian Federation.
