Andrei Sergeevich Starych

Andrei Sergejewitsch Starych ( Russian Андрей Сергеевич Старых ; born February 2, 1984 ) is a Russian handball player .

The 1.98 meter tall and 97 kilogram right back player has been under contract with Medvedi Chekhov since 2009 . Before that he played for SKIF Krasnodar . With Krasnodar he played in the EHF Cup in 2007/08, in the EHF Challenge Cup in 2002/03, 2003/04, 2005/06 and 2008/09 and in the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2006/07 and with Medvedi Chekhov in the EHF in 2009/10 Champions League .

Andrei Starych scored 114 goals in 57 international matches for the Russian national team (as of January 2012) and was in the squad for the 2012 European Handball Championship . He previously took part in the 2010 European Handball Championship .
