Andrew Koenig

Joshua Andrew Koenig (* 17th August 1968 in Los Angeles , California ; † between 14. February 2010 and 25 February 2010 in Vancouver , Canada ) was an American actor and film editor , who in a few short films as a screenwriter and film director acted.

Life

As the son of actor Walter Koenig ( Pavel Chekov in Raumschiff Enterprise ), Koenig was part of the show business at an early age, and at the age of five he had his first guest role in a television series . He began his acting career in the mid-1980s with a recurring guest role as Richard “Boner” Stabone on the sitcom Our Loud Home . Between 1985 and 1989 he starred in 25 episodes of the series. He also had guest roles in various other series, including an episode of the Star Trek series Deep Space Nine . In 2003 he moved behind the camera and worked as an editor, as well as a screenwriter and director of short films .

Koenig was reported missing by his family after he failed to return home from Vancouver on February 16, 2010 and could not be found. On February 25, his body was found in Stanley Park , Vancouver. At a press conference, his father announced that it was suicide ; Andrew suffered from depression .
