Andrew Martin (born July 19, 1987 ) is an English badminton player . He starts in Parabadminton in the starting class SH6 in singles, doubles and mixed.

Athletic career

Andrew Martin won gold in doubles at the European Badminton Championships for the disabled in 2008, 2010 and 2012 . In 2012 in Dortmund he also won gold in mixed with Rachel Choong and silver in singles. He won gold in mixed and silver medal in singles at the Badminton World Cup for the disabled in Dortmund in 2013 . In 2014 at the European Badminton Championships for the disabled in Murcia , Martin won a gold medal in singles and silver in doubles. At the 2015 home World Cup in Stoke Mandeville , he won the gold medal in mixed with Choong, as well as silver in singles and doubles. The 2016 European Championship in Beek brought Martin gold with Choong in mixed and bronze in singles. At the 2017 World Cup in Ulsan , South Korea , Martin won the mixed title with Rachel Choong, he was eliminated in singles in the round of 16 and in doubles with Miles Krajewski in the group stage. In 2018 at the EM in Rodez , Martin won bronze in singles, silver in doubles and gold in mixed. The Badminton World Championship for the disabled in Basel in 2019 brought Martin gold in doubles with Rachel Choong and bronze in doubles with Frenchman Fabien Morat .
