Andrew Oswald (born November 27, 1953 ) is a British economist . He is Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick .

Life

Oswald studied economics and received a BA from the University of Stirling in 1975 and an M.Sc. from the University of Strathclyde , and in 1980 the D.Phil. awarded by the University of Oxford . After his doctorate he worked as a professor and researcher at the University of Oxford, Princeton University , Stockholm University , the London School of Economics , Dartmouth College , the National Bureau of Economic Research , Harvard University , Cornell University , and the University of Zurich . Since 1996 he has been a professor at the University of Warwick.

Oswald has mainly dealt with labor economics and has published many papers. Later he began to research the border areas between economics, epidemiology and psychology .
