Andrew Smith (sprinter)
Andrew Smith (born January 29, 1964 ) is a retired Jamaican sprinter .
In 1987 he was sixth over 100 m at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis and won bronze in the 4-by-100-meter relay . At the World Athletics Championships in Rome he reached the semi-finals over 100 m and won the bronze medal behind the teams from the United States and the Soviet Union in the 4 x 100 meter relay together with John Mair , Clive Wright and Raymond Stewart .
At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, he was eliminated over 100 m in the quarter-finals. At the Central American and Caribbean Championships in 1989 in San Juan, he was third over 100 m.
