Andritsena ( Greek Ανδρίτσαινα ( f. Sg. ), Also Andritsaina ) is a village on the Peloponnese peninsula  in the Greek region of western Greece . From 1951 to 2010 it was the seat of a parish of the same name. In 2010 this municipality was merged with the municipalities of Alifira and Skillounda to form the new municipality of Andritsena-Krestena , where it has since formed a municipality with 1798 inhabitants (2011).

The ancient city ​​of Andritsaina was assigned to the Arcadia region.

Andritsena is located at an altitude of about 750 meters (highest point up to 1000 meters) in the mountainous heartland between Olympia and Tripoli on the national road 76 between Skillounda and Megalopoli . The picturesque village is often a stopover for tourists who want to visit the Temple of Apollo near Bassae , 14 kilometers to the south .
