Andrzej Kupczyk
Andrzej Kupczyk (born October 26, 1948 in Świdnica ) is a former Polish middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
In 1969 he was sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Athens . A fifth place at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 in Vienna was followed by a bronze medal at the European Indoor Championships in 1971 in Sofia.
In 1972 he won bronze with the Polish team in the 4 x 720 meter relay at the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble and was seventh at the Olympic Games in Munich .
In 1971 and 1973 he was Polish champion over 800 m, in 1970 over 1500 m .
