Andy Knote
Andy Knote (* 1962 in Munich ) is a German music producer.
After studying music (piano and singing) and further training, he founded Toyco Studios in 1984 together with Armand Presser . Andy Knote wrote and produced the music for numerous films, commercials and TV series as well as popular music .
The first major film production was the soundtrack for Manta, Manta with Til Schweiger . Successful releases include the gold and platinum German soundtracks for Digimon , Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon , which he wrote in collaboration with Noel Pix alias Jochen Seibert, Henk Flemming and others. Through these publications he became known especially among young audiences.
More recent productions are Avedis (together with Sarkis Gazaryan), which musically deals with Armenian liturgy and jingles for the RTL II children's format pokito .
Since 1998 the studios have been operating as Edition Arts of Toyco at Melodie der Welt .
