Angela Drechsler

Angela Drechsler ( November 9, 1883 in Lichtewerden - May 21, 1961 in Bischofsmais ) was a German local researcher and music teacher .

Life

Angela Drechsler was born in Lichtewerden and studied piano in Vienna . Between 1904 and 1940 she worked as a piano teacher in Olomouc . In addition to her work, she dealt with music criticism and local history research. Drechsler published a book about the history of the villages in Gesenke. In 1946 she was expelled to Germany. After the expulsion, she lived and died in Bischofsmais.
