Angelika Schröder

Angelika Schröder (born February 20, 1955 in Herford ) is a German author.

Life

Schröder first studied education in Siegen , then ethnology in Cologne and Munich . During stays in Asia she wrote travel reports for various newspapers. She works full-time as a primary school teacher in Hagen in the Sauerland region and began writing again in the 1990s alongside her job. In 2004 she published her first crime thriller.

Schroeder is a member of the syndicate , the author Ruhr-Mark , in the Christine Koch society and in the VS .

Awards

  • 2005: Alfred Müller Felsenburg Prize for upright literature
  • 2005: Detective Prize of the City of Singen for the short thriller "An Investor for Messkirch"
