Angelo Negri (bishop)

Angelo Negri FSCJ (born November 19, 1889 in Tres , Tyrol , Austria-Hungary ; † November 13, 1949 ) was an Austro-Hungarian Roman Catholic religious and apostolic vicar of Nilo Equatoriale .

Life

Angelo Negri joined the Congregation of the Comboni Missionaries in and received on August 10, 1912, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 10, 1934, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the titular bishop of Barica and Vicar Apostolic of Nilo Equatoriale. The Bishop of Brescia , Giacinto Tredici O.SS.CA , donated him episcopal ordination on May 5, 1935 ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Brescia, Emilio Bongiorni , and the emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Bahr al-Ghazal , Antonio Stoppani FSCJ.
