Angelus Hux

Angelus Hux (* 1933 in Tobel ) is a local historian and author of writings on the history and personalities of the city of Frauenfeld , including "200 years of the Erchingerhaus: a piece of Langdorfer history" (2011), "The Konstablergesellschaft Frauenfeld: its history, its regulations and customs »(2010) and« The Redinghaus in Frauenfeld - a search for traces »(2010). He works as an archivist for the Frauenfeld community.

Life

Angelus Hux was born the son of a church musician and spent his earliest childhood in Tobel in the canton of Thurgau . As a primary school student, he moved with his family to Frauenfeld, where his family, originally based in Herdern , has had citizenship since 1893. He worked as an organist with a concert diploma and as a secondary teacher phil. I. In 2013 he was given honorary citizenship of the city of Frauenfeld. From 1991 to 2007 he served as a citizen scribe and from 1995 to 2007 as vice-president of the Frauenfeld community. He has been their archivist since 1993.
