The Angle Tarn is a lake in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The Angle Tarn is located in a cirque at the western end of the Great Langdale Valley on the northern slopes of Esk Pike and Bowfell .
The lake has no discernible above-ground inflow. Its outflow is the Langstrath Beck , a tributary of the River Derwent .
