Angus Armstrong (born March 17, 1997 in Sydney ) is an Australian pole vaulter .

Athletic career

Angus Armstrong gained his first international experience at the Summer Universiade 2015 in Gwangju , where he was eliminated with 4.80 m in the qualification, as well as at the U20 World Championships 2016 in Bydgoszcz with 5.10 m. At the 2017 Student World Games in Taipei , he finished fifth with 5.30 m. In 2018 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and also finished fifth there with 5.35 m.

In 2015 Armstrong was the Australian champion in pole vault. He is a student at Sydney University .
