Anja Becher (born April 22, 1977 in Binningen ) is a Swiss - Austrian actress .

Life

Anja Becher comes from a family of writers. Her great-grandfather is the humorist and satirist Roda Roda , her grandfather the writer Ulrich Becher , her father the writer Martin Roda Becher . She attended the private drama school in Zurich .

Anja Becher has been working as a freelance actress for the Helmut Förnbacher Theater Company in Basel's Badischer Bahnhof since 2000 . Under the direction of Helmut Förnbacher she played a. a. Madame de Tourvel in a stage version of the novel Dangerous Liaisons by Choderlos de Laclos . She also played the role of Sylvia in the play The Game of Love and Chance ( Le jeu de l'amour et du hasard ) by Pierre Marivaux . She also took over the hero in Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare and Frau Brigitte in The Broken Jug by Heinrich von Kleist .

She was a guest at the Perchtoldsdorf Summer Play near Vienna, as Rosetta in Leonce and Lena by Georg Büchner at the Brüglingen Summer Theater and in other independent theater productions. She also took part in the 2008 Schloss Weitra Festival in the Austrian Waldviertel in the comedy Die Kinder by Hermann Bahr , directed by Felix Dvorak .

She was seen in various television roles, most recently on Swiss television in the hospital series " Tag und Nacht " by Hans Liechti .
