Anja Krause (born January 31, 1977 in Berlin ) is a former German volleyball player .

Career

Anja Krause started volleyball in her hometown with the junior team of the VC Olympia Berlin . She then played at USC Münster in the First Bundesliga , where she was German champion in 1997 and DVV cup winner in 1997 and 2000 . She later played in Italy with Vicenza Volley , the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg , the Dutch top club Longa 59 Lichtenvoorde and most recently from 2006 to 2009 with VfB 91 Suhl . The player was represented almost continuously in the rankings of German volleyball from 1999 to 2009 . Anja Krause also played 48 times in the German national team .
