Anja Schneider (DJ)
Anja Schneider (born in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a DJ , producer , radio maker and label owner in the field of electronic dance music .
Career
In 1994 Anja Schneider moved to Berlin and started working for the private radio broadcaster Kiss FM . There she worked with Ellen Allien , among others . In 2000 she switched to Radio Fritz and hosted the show Dance Under The Blue Moon every Saturday until 2017 , one of the most famous German radio formats for electronic music, in which she presented new releases from the club scene. Among the guests were artists like Luciano , Tiefschwarz , DJ T. , MANDY , DJ Hell , John Tejada , Booka Shade , Tobi Neumann and Re.You .
From November 2003 to April 2005, Schneider was resident DJ at the Berlin Club Watergate . She also became known through her party series with specially selected guests such as Jennifer Cardini and Jesper Dahlbäck . Since July 2005 she has been regularly represented at Club WMF in Berlin. Anja Schneider has been producing together with the Berlin DJ and producer Sebo K since June 2004 . Tonite , their first production, found themselves on the DJ charts of some artists in July of the same year. After the official release date in November, their first track with remixes by The Youngsters and the Dirt Crew made it to number 8 in the German Club Charts. She later made a mix compilation called the Loveradio Compilation . In 2005 Schneider founded her own label Mobilee Records . The label became known with some releases from Sebo K, Pan-Pot and Exercise One. The mobilee 003 ( Anja Schneider & Sebo K - Side Leaps / Rancho Relaxo ) made it to number 9 in the groove charts of September 2005. In 2008, Beyond The Valley was their first album.
She has been working for Radio Eins since spring 2017 and moderates the Club Room program . In the summer of the same year, Anja Schneider announced her departure from Mobilee Records and founded the new record label Sous Music .
