Anke Soltkahn

Anke Soltkahn (born May 11, 1941 in Berlin ) is a German politician of the CDU and the PRO .

Soltkahn attended the Heinrich von Kleist high school and the higher business school, she completed her school career with a technical college entrance qualification . She then worked in the regional post office and from 1963 to 1991 in an architecture office. From 1991 she ran her own property management. In addition, she was deputy chairwoman of the house and landowner association in Wilmersdorf .

In 1974 Soltkahn joined the CDU, where she was a district and state delegate and was a member of the MIT state board . From 1977 to 1985 she was Citizens' Deputy , after which she was a member of the district assembly in Wilmersdorf for fourteen years, most recently as deputy parliamentary group leader. In 1999 she was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which she was a member until 2001.

In February 2002 Soltkahn participated in the founding of the Berlin regional association of the Rule of Law Offensive party founded by Ronald Schill . She also served as the state chairman of this party. In January 2004 she resigned from this office in the wake of internal party quarrels.
