Ann-Cathrin Uhl was from the 2008/09 season to the 2010/11 season in the German Student Cup, where she was ninth overall in the 2008/09 season. In the 2011/12 season she made her debut in the German Cup and came 20th in the overall ranking in the Youth 16 category. At the German Championships in 2012 in Oberwiesenthal , she reached 22nd place in the U16 skiathlon category , 10th place in individual classic and 10th place in the sprint team with Julia Rohrer in Balderschwang . In the German Cup she came in the 2012/13 season in the overall standings on 28th place and one season later on 36th place in the U18 category. At the German Championships 2013 in Bayerisch Eisenstein she came in the classic sprint place on the 20th place, in the skiathlon on the 15th place, in the individual on the 24th place, in Finsterau in the mass start classic on the 18th place and in the team sprint Vera Gruber on 11th place in the U18 category. In addition to the Germany Cup, she took part in FIS and junior races. At the German Championships 2014 in Sulzberg she reached the 21st place in the individual and in the classic mass start 20th place in the U18 category. From the 2014/15 season to the 2017/18 season, she took part exclusively in cross-country skiing races in the USA . She has been taking part in the Ski Classics cross-country skiing series since the 2018/19 season. At the Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk she reached the classic 5 km, the 26th place in the 5 km pursuit and the 34th place in the 15 km mass start.
Mountain run
In addition to cross-country skiing, she is also active as a track and field athlete and competed in the German student team championship 2008 in Haslach in the 800-meter run in the U14 category in her youth. She ran a time of 2: 54.1 minutes. She has been taking part in mountain runs since 2016. On July 16, 2016, she contested her first mountain run at the Karwendel mountain run with a time of 1:28:49 minutes and reached 10th place. At the German Mountain Running Championships 2016 as part of the Tegelberg Run, she reached 30th place in the overall ranking of women and in the team she won the silver medal with the LG Brandenkopf. A year later she finished 30th in the overall ranking of women at the 2017 German Mountain Running Championships as part of the Arberland Mountain Run and fifth with the team. In 2018, she took fifth place in the overall ranking of women at the 33rd International Oberrieder Tote Mann Mountain Run 2018. At the German Mountain Running Championships 2018 as part of the Brocken Run, she reached 23rd place in the overall ranking of women and won the gold medal in the team.
