Ann Christin Elverum

Ann Christin Elverum (born July 25, 1974 in Sarpsborg ) is a Norwegian actress , singer , dancer and musical performer .

Life

Ann Christin Elverum was born on July 25, 1974, the oldest of two children in the small Norwegian town of Sarpsborg near Oslo . She was drawn into the spotlight at an early age and at the age of 16 she got her first engagement in the Norwegian production of the musical "Ben Hur". Many other roles followed such as B. Rizzo in " Grease ", Maria in " The Sound of Music ", Anita in " West Side Story ", Nancy in " Oliver! " And one of the soul girls in " Jesus Christ Superstar " in her home country. Ann Christin studied musicals at the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg ( Sweden ) and dance at the London Studio Center.

In 2000 she came to Germany for the first time to play in the ensemble and as Esmeralda in "Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame". At the same time as Glöckner, Ann Christin took on the leading female role of Alina in the English-language world premiere of the Norwegian musical "Tonight" in Oslo. She then stayed in Germany and her musical career rose steadily. In "Elisabeth" in Essen she took over the first occupation of the governess and second occupation of Elisabeth. This was followed by an engagement in the Berlin production of " Les Misérables ", where Ann Christin played the premiere cast of Fantine. She created Marguerite at the German-language premiere of " The Scarlet Pimpernel " in Halle and Mina at the European premiere of Frank Wildhorn's " Dracula " in St.Gallen, Switzerland. In summer 2005 she returned to Sarpsborg and played the leading female role in the world premiere of the Norwegian musical "Det gjærer i Borg".

Since 2005 she can be seen in the musical "3 Musketeers" (first in Berlin , then in Stuttgart ) as first cast Queen Anna and second cast Milady de Winter.

In addition to her numerous stage engagements, Ann Christin Elverum has appeared at several concerts and has already participated in various CD productions, most recently with the recording of the Halle original cast album "The Scarlet Pimpernel".
