Ann Petersen (actress)
Ann Petersen (born June 22, 1927 in Wuustwezel , Belgium as Annie Peeters ; † December 11, 2003 in Opwijk , Belgium) was a Belgian actress .
Life
Ann Petersen began her acting career as a member of the Kamertoneel theater company . She was regularly seen on the stage of the Koninklijke Vlaamse Schouwburg for 30 years . From 1960 until her death she starred in over 100 film and television productions. She became known with Benoît Lamy's socially critical comedy Trautes Heim , in which she played the dictatorial director of the home alongside Claude Jade and Jacques Perrin . She was later featured in Ardennes Ham , Kalman's Secret and The Sorrow of Flanders . For her portrayals in The Sacrament and Pauline and Paulette , she was nominated for Best Actress for the Joseph Plateauprijs , where she was awarded for first.
