action

The film describes the revolt in a Brussels old people's home. When the “home inmate” and runaway Jules is supposed to be shoved into the loony bin, the old people barricade themselves on the roof of the home. Claire, previously willing devotee of the director, takes over the management of the home with social worker Jacques.

The nurse Claire, who initially struggled for authority, acts as a figure of identification for the younger generations, supports the director like a watchdog and does not shy away from denunciation. After the dismissal of the committed social worker Jacques, Claire helps the old people and ensures that an affair between the director and the police chief is uncovered. In the end, Claire and Jacques take over the management of the home together with the elderly.
