Anna Baier
Anna Baier ( April 28, 1860 in Vienna - June 4, 1935 there ) was an Austrian opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Anna Baier received her training at the Vienna Conservatory and was a student of Mathilde Marchesi and Marie Louise Dustmann-Meyer . In 1880 she made her debut as "Page" in " The Huguenots " at the Dresden Court Theater , and after having been engaged there after one year in Brno in 1882 and in Prague in 1883, she joined the Association of the Vienna Court Opera Theater in 1884 (performance role "Isabella" in "Robert the Devil"). She belonged to this art institute until 1899.
Her life after 1899 is unknown; she died in Vienna in 1935.
She was the sister of the opera singer Ida Baier , her brother-in-law was Ignaz Liebhardt .
