Ignaz Liebhardt
Ignaz Liebhardt (born February 22, 1850 in Bösing , † October 27, 1901 in Vienna ) was an Austrian theater actor , director and writer .
Life
Ignaz Liebhardt entered the stage for the first time in Klagenfurt without any previous dramatic training . He was then in Linz, Sigmaringen, Brno, Budapest, Graz (1877–1880), at the Wiener Stadttheater (1880–1882), Ringtheater , Berlin Residenztheater, then again in Brno and Budapest, at the Carltheater and from 1889 until his death in 1901 engaged at the Deutsches Volkstheater in Vienna.
He gave humorous character roles and humorous fathers with a lot of luck and he was also successful as a writer.
He was the husband of the opera singer Ida Baier , his sister-in-law was Anna Baier .
