Anna Christine Luise von Pfalz-Sulzbach (born February 5, 1704 in Sulzbach , Upper Palatinate , † March 12, 1723 in Turin ) was a Countess Palatine of Sulzbach by marriage Duchess of Savoy and Crown Princess of Sardinia-Piedmont .

Life

Anna Christine Luise was the youngest daughter of Duke and Count Palatine Theodor Eustach von Sulzbach (1659–1732) from his marriage to Marie Eleonore (1675–1720), daughter of Landgrave Wilhelm I of Hesse-Rotenburg .

On March 15, 1722 she was in Vercelli with Duke Karl Emanuel III. of Savoy , who later became King of Sardinia-Piedmont.

The couple had only one son, Vittorio Amadeo (* March 7, 1723, † August 11, 1725), Duke of Aosta, who died in childhood. Five days after the prince was born, Anna Christine also died in childbed at the age of 19 . She was buried in the Turin Cathedral of S. Giovanni Battista and reburied in the Basilica di Superga in 1786 . After her death in 1724 Karl Emanuel married Polyxena von Hessen-Rotenburg , a cousin of Anna Christine.
