Anna Forstenheim

Anna Forstenheim , actually Anna Goldmann , married Anna Hirschler , (born September 21, 1846 in Zagreb , † October 9, 1889 in Vöslau near Vienna ) was an Austrian editor and writer . She advocated equal rights for women.

Anna Goldmann, who wrote under the pseudonym Anna (A.) Forstenheim, had been married to the Viennese banker and railroad entrepreneur Hirschler since 1867. There was a daughter from the marriage, the writer Clara Kestřanek . Forstenheim worked for the publications Bazar , Gartenlaube , Neue Freie Presse , Wiener Hausfrauen-Zeitung , the Berner Bund , the Straßburger Zeitung and co-founder of the Association of Writers and Artists in Vienna, of which she was treasurer.
