Anna Maria, Countess of Solms-Sonnenwalde (born January 24, 1585 in Sonnewalde , † November 20, 1634 in Ottweiler ) was Countess of Hohenlohe-Langenburg by marriage.

Life

Anna Maria was the third daughter of Count Otto zu Solms-Sonnenwalde (1550-1612) and his wife Anna Amalia, née Countess von Nassau-Weilburg (1560-1635).

On January 15, 1609 she married Count Philipp Ernst zu Hohenlohe-Neuenstein (1584–1628), son of Count Wolfgang zu Hohenlohe-Weikersheim. In the midst of the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War, Anna widowed Maria and took over the business of government. In September 1634 she fled with her mother and her children in good time under the cover of 200 riders summoned by the Count Palatine near the Rhine to Saarbrücken and on to Ottweiler, her mother's homeland in Nassau-Saarbrücken. Countess Anna Maria died there on November 20, 1634.

She was buried together with her husband in the crypt of the Langenburg town church. Behind the age is a stone tomb in memory of the couple .
