Anna Nowakowska (* 25. May 1980 as Anna Świętońska in Stargard Szczeciński , Poland ) is a Polish volleyball -Nationalspielerin.

Career

Anna Nowakowska began her career in her hometown at MOS Stargard Szczeciński. In 1994 she moved to Chemik Police for four years and in 1999 came to the top club Gwardia Wrocław via the AZS Opole , with whom she twice reached the Polish Cup final. In 2004 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Dresdner SC . Three years later she won the German championship with the DSC . Winning the championship entitles the club to participate in the Challenge Cup , in which the team took third place.

After third place in the German championship of the 2008/09 season Nowakowska moved back to her home country to the promoted Organika Budowlani Łódź , with whom she finished fourth in the Polish championship and won the Polish Cup. In 2010 Nowakowska returned to the German Bundesliga. In 2011 she won the DVV Cup with Smart Allianz Stuttgart . A year later she ended her active career. Since then she has been working as a team manager at the Polish association Impel Wrocław.
